How can I book a hotel through the local tour agent? I heard is cheaper than booking online or walk in. I tried emailing but no response. And any good recommendation for 2 way airport transport?

Hi,Angela it is better to book online to thru those hotel booking sites offering special discount.Just email the hotel u book to arrange for the two way transfer to airport by paying a special rate the hotel.It is safer and less inconvenient if u are all ladies or are travelling alone in Hat Yai.

Hi, many thanks for all the useful advises. I managed to book direct from the hotel as many tour agents I asked are fully booked on May as there are some public holidays in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. However the quotation for 2 way transport that the hotel I am staying is very expensive.3 x the rate! So I shall take a taxi from the airport and probably get the same taxi to pick us up for return trip back to airport.

When you get to Hat Yai airport there are three ways to go 1) van its about 80b and will take you to your hotel. 2) taxi meter new so not sure on price 3) Songteaw pickup bus will take you to the city but not to your hotel cost 30b
