Hello we plan to come with my football team 26-29 may 2012. we are from belgium- just have some tips when we are there (clubs, restaurants, prices , banks,..) and eventually good cheap hotel (40€ /per double room with breakfast)- thanks to all and greetings from Brussels

Hi Roberto,they are different types of restaurants in Plovdiv.You may choose a good one for10 to 20 BGN the dish.2BGN is 1 EUR.A bottle of good wine is 15 to 20 Euros.Bulgaria is a big producer of Duck foie gras in case you like it.The prices of the Foie gras course is 20 BGN.

Good restaurants Heamingway in down town,Memory is also easy to find.Elea restaurant offers mostly fish dishes and it is very good.15 to 20 BGN the dish.Of course you may choose another kind of place to sit.Keep in mind that some of the restaurants with local food have as well a kind of entertainment.Music and dancers and a lot of noise.Banks are working generally form Monday to Friday 9AM to 5 PM.The locaL currency is LEV.The exact rate is 1EUR =1,95583 leva.I am not aware about the prices of the hotels exactely,but generally they are not expensive.The local football fans are really very attractive!

A budget of 40 Euros for a double room with breakfast is O.K.Praktically most of the hotels offers room for this price.Have a look at the booking.com.The peson I am working with is from Belgium as well and likes mostly the hotels in the old town.They are a little more expensives.

posso raccomandarti un cambio di valuta a Plovdiv: "Melin", via Brezovska 20. Il prezzo dell'euro che ti hanno indicato in su e il cosi detto fixing della banca nazionale. Quindi sul mercato per 1 euro =1,95 leva e si vende a 1,96. Stai attendo per non visitare certi cambi - truffatori che prendono "commission". Hostel: www.hostellavenir.weebly.com, costo 10 euro/letto ma ci sono soltanto 3 stanze double e 1 studio con letto doppio - cucina, TV nelle stanze, minibar, aria condizionata. Grazie Snejana- per lhotel abbiamo scelto l'Imperial, abbiamo avuto prezzo di gruppo e ancora discount via la squadra locale che a un arrangiamento ( mezza pensione in camera doppia per 40 euros)- sto guardando per le visite (Sofia, plovdiv, la nostra partita di calcio- abbiamo ancora un giorno e pensavo alla valle delle Rose e la citta di Koprivchtitza, o bena Assen/Batchlovo e il lago Dospat, o allora visita di un canyon o citta termale di Velingrad- Ci sono distributori dove si puo prendere soldi? penso che sia meglio per noi....Per tua informaziione un responsabile dello club locale che ci viene a prendere a sofia. Grazie per il tuo aiuto...

che cosa sarebbe "distributori di soldi" - bancomat con carta di debeto/credito? - certo che ci sono ma non so la tariffa

si un bancomat:-) comunque l hotel lo paghiamo con la carta credito, ci vuole un po di soldi per andare in giro e mangiare- sei molto simpatica di aiutarci Snejana, restiamo in contatto e forse prendiamo insieme una birra o rahiki insieme in un pub :-)
