Hi Nancy. some late answer but 60 euro for per day good money for a hotel in İstanbul. 3 stars hotel start 30 euros.

i paid 75 euros per night in taksim the hotel says in the internet that was 4 stars but when i arrived i see that was 2 stars and it was very bad ,not clean,very small room,the aircondition works sometimes and they repair the room next to me so i didn't sleep for 5 days...

I was there last summer an my husband and I stayed at a hotel in sultanahmet for 60 euro per night. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. No breakfast at that price. And our room wasn't cleaned regularly, but I would stay there again. It's called daphineinn. There are many cheap hotels there. Check booking.com

bookinturkey.com isgood but sometimes hotels are not really good. I have done that on bookinchina.com was dissapointed. bet is how much is your budget. ı do not recommend the aksaray for you to stay..
