I have been in Pakistan twice back in the 80's. Pakistan is very different from the western world as we know. Karatchi, it is a very busy city, I enjoyed the beach there. In Islamabad I have seen the mosque and the Goverment Palace. I was impressed by the mosque, build entirely out of Gold and Marble. I had the honor to be invited to a wedding. In Rawalpindi I went to the bazaar for shopping, I was able to get some very nice jewelery and traditional clothing. In Murree Hills we were able to get away from the heat, I was surprised how fast the fog comes in, within seconds and disappears. After I left Pakistan to go back home to my own Country I was a little bit shocked about my own Country. Pakistan was so colorful, warm and lots of Flowers, at home everything looked so grey and cold compared to Pakistan
Beautiful Country, great hospitality, good people. I still cook some Pakistani food/dishes. If I could I would love to visit Pakistan again, to see how much it has changed.
