Thessaloniki has its charm but it is not looked after properly. It is disorganised and loads of pollution from the traffic and continuous works. Thessaloniki disappointed me at first because it didn't have the image I first thought of in my mind. Though as one explores and spends more time in Thessaloniki, and not as a tourist, you will find its charm. I enjoyed the night life that is quite different to any city I've been, it is happening all the time, people are out all the time, at cafes, eating out and shopping. It has so much going for it with the beach beside it, but it seems that the potential beauty is not respected and looked after. Overall I loved Thessaloniki.
