many georgians speak russian, particularly those in the mountains near russia, alog te black sea coast in abkhazi (where russian soldiers are), and older persons from the time before 1991
to be honnest few people speak english so it s hard to enjoy at its best the places; except batumi and tbilisi you wont find english speakers easily. still after two trips there i still enjoy this lovely country and fortunately last time i was with locals and russians in love with saqartvelo and they share their love with me and translate everything, i learned a lot and enjoyed it
