Verde (green) it is not, generaly flat atmesphere and a slightly depressing feel to the whole place may be nice in about five years time I'll keep an open mind very few high points of any merit .

If you read the history of the archipelago you'll know that Verde means green but the name of "Cape Vert comes on the Cape vert in senegal that was the reference for the portuguese who found the islands. doesn't have anything to do with vegetation
