PLEASE BE CAREFUL: Although using other people's research is the easiest way to start, it is also the most problematic! Make sure that you RECORD where you got your information (and what the info was) every step of the way! I posted something YEARS AGO that turned out to be wrong... I have since corrected it but still find it everywhere since people have copied my research and taken it as GOSPEL! Finding sources has been the most rewarding part for me - proving connections as much as I am able. My father, brother and uncle had even submitted DNA in order to contribute to my research!

I recently found information on my 17th great grandfather... we're talking the 14th century! Richard Crossland was born in England around 1385!!
