If you are a cat of dog lover, please visit the "kill" centres in the US beginning with the posting of cats on death row that are often given less than 24 hours to settle down. Many are abandoned due to old age; the love, loyalty and devotion given to their owners all for nothing. Please, if you live within a 3 hour driving distance of NYC, please offer to foster or adopt one of these helpless animals. Fostering is free; injured animals who require vetting, receive chip-in funds from those of us who do not live close enough to take them in.

Other kill centres in Miami-Dade County, North and South Carolina and most of the other states in the US and provinces of Canada also kill. In the US last year alone, over 11 million domestic animals were euthanized. It will be worse this year as more people lose their livelihoods and their homes. Most cities allow for cats to leave the immediate jurisdiction and there is a huge underground railway of volunteers who help for free.
