Only one way to see the Taj: At night by light of moon. Book your trip only for that time of the month or miss the BEST views of it shining, glittering at night. Temple to the right is where Shah Jahan sat after Mumtaz's death. If you go there and stand in middle and walk slowly back and forth (without the corner pillars) it is optical illusion of moving towards you or away from you. Agra is not good city so book for Taj at full moon second or third day of it is best (less other people) and then get out of town.
