WHY in cricket fielding positions: Silly point, Square Leg, Back wood short leg, Fine leg,Gully and Slip called so?

Raj Bajoria from Mumbai, India Raj
They r called so in order to identify the field set for a particular batsman in order to restrict his run making abilities

thanks for your information. I thought they put the silly fielder on silly point; the one who could not run because of square legs on square leg and those with nice glittering legs on fine leg. Probably the one with amputated leg and the short leg replaced with back wood was put on back wood short leg.
Now after the drubbing Indian team got on England and Aussie tour would all like to suggest the names of lazy Indian fielders who qualified of these positions.

I add those who slipped while taking a catch qualified to be put in slip and who guided the ball to boundary after 3rd slipper and square leg was entitled to be in Gully. Here again name fielders as none should feel annoyed.
