Teresa  (with reference to Teaching) 9th Oct 2011

When I first started teaching all the experienced teachers told me what I should do eg. be strict, be firm with your students. But that is sincerely not who I am within. I was given the worse class - so that is what I was told. Today, I am so bless to have wonderful students who are so loving and kind. Just love your students, be kind, compassionate and have a listening ear, smile as often as you can (even when you are teaching). I motivate them when they feel they think they cannot do something. Experienced teachers ask me how I handle this class because they see the difference. DON'T BE TOO STRICT. JUST BE A TEACHER, MENTOR AND A FRIEND TO YOUR STUDENTS.

Dear teresa indeed you are correct that one should be friendly, loving and caring with her students because student is not the name of a slave, student is a name to polish for her future and her next life steps towards success but most time we feel like we will be disgraced if we give them passionate and love...

Not all teachers receive a fat pay check. But that should not matter if you love your job and your students. Furthermore, not all highly paid teachers can teach, love their students or even love their jobs. If you love your students, only then will you be able to teach from the heart - you will be transformed and find it easier to teach the so-called difficult student. Praise your difficult student, praise your student, listen to his / her ideas (give them a chance to speak / give their views. Never punish your students. A teacher's smile and eye contact is so important. I dedicate at least 15 minutes for my students and they tell me anything from how they are feeling, what they thought of the lesson to crack a joke of two. My students mean a lot to me. Give from your heart. Your students will be your close friends.
