Kitty the best wine in the world is the one YOU most enjoy, I have drunk a small taste of $1000 dollar wine that tastes no better than some $10 wines. The experts will tell you differently but I think there are many wines that are nice example I think the best wine in the world is a St Emillion Grand cru. Basically it is all down to individual taste. I can't stand Champaign but many will tell you this is the best wine
