Can anyone recommend a good golf course near London, which would be good for a beginner?

Hey Epp! One I would recommend is Trent Park Golf Course in Oakwood, North London. They sometimes do deals on Groupon and it's a nice day out! It's on the piccadilly line and you get off at Oakwood tube and its across the road. Have fun!

Most of the courses in and around London are beginners courses, you have to travel out a few miles before you get to the hard ones. If you are in the SW of London then Richmond Park Course is wide, flat and a good place to start.

There is no course for "beginners". In order to start playing golf you need to learn about the rules, etiquette, and the basics of swing. After you can probably join a group of more experienced golfers, in order to become better. Go and practice every now and then with a pro teacher. He'll learn you about the importance of a correct execution of the swing......keep in mind that you will not learn to golf overnight....:-)
