I have read most of the comments ,Everyone seems to be on the right track .Allow me to add my little bit. Starting point ,cooking is an art form ,begin with clean surfaces ,ingredients,what ever is to be seasoned ,ie meats ,should be marinated overnight or several hours before needed. Feel free to express your love for whome ever you are cooking ,give it your best.

I agree totally with Diamond in his comment, and would want to say more that if passion is added to your zeal, the results would still be better and there is nothing better than a hearty meal, cooked with love passion zeal and integrity.

Everyone has some creativity in them, the same rule applies to cooking. Be creative. Take basic ingredients and enhance them, be it cooking or baking.

As long as you cook the food with passion and love. It will taste good. Respect the food as well. You can always attend the leisure cooking class if you want to enhance your cooking skill....
