In the cold monthes (may – sep.) much water is in river Zambezi with its many crocs and hippos. The Falls are nicest at the Zim side. Hire a plastic coat when walking the path opposite the little Fall, for making pics and remain dry. On the wall behind the path wet loving plants grow. There are cheap lodges. Hwange is a wonderful wildpark. Remain always in the car with closed windows: the animals are the very quick bosses. The boss of bosses, the elephant, always takes precedence. Let you guide by local people, they spot the animals first. Hwange offers cabins and a little restaurant within a fenced area. The big cats are many times deep in the park.
