leave nothing but only footstep, bring nothing but only memories, follow rules inside the forest and always listen closely to your guide for they're the experts, always be prepare and enjoy your trekking, make sure you have few months preparations (exercise, etc.) prior to actual trekking..... enjoy your trekking guys....

Respect the rain forest, i have to speak about Perú and the river Amazon.. Is wonderful to be there, the people, animals, and food. If you want to make trek, you must take the company of a guide as is dangerous because the spiders, snakes and other animals. Is amazing really, the tribes of campas, aguarunas and other indians still live there, but if you want to visit and known more of their costumes. You have to request a permission. To go there, and share with them their culture..
