Hello everyone, I am going on a cruise to Alaska, with one day stops in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan. Any recommendations on what we can do in barely one day in each of those places would be much appreciated.

Thanks Ross, I know the cruise line offers a lot of tours, it's just difficult to decide which one to pick! Looked up that video - thanks for the tip. Pretty interesting - don't think I came across it on any of the websites I went through. Will be waving! ;)

If you travel, you would go from Seattle, Washington (USA). I found Alaska to be a great state, I would visit Juneau (their captial city) and then Anchorage. From either of these places, you would be able to find a variety of other locations to visit, as the state is quite large - if you're looking for outdoor hiking, look in Mt. Denali and if you're just looking to see a few things, Anchorage in March is great....

Hi Sandy, I see that you ask about organized trips as well, there may be some companies that offer it, but the easiest may be a cruise-line (usually sails from Vancouver, BC or Seattle, Washington). The only problem is that they only offer a couple stops, but I've heard the views of ice and sea-life is amazing...

China Hot Springs outside of Fairbanks. Be prepared to be really cold when not in the springs!
