Mongu is the provincial headquarters of western province, zambia. it has a rich cultural heritage, a slow but steady economical grow is beginning to show. it is home of one of the largest flood plains( it's known that if rice is grown in the plains in western province, we can actually feed the whole world). it is here the you find one of the most tasty fish locally known as mbufu( red breasted breams)
i wish to travel to zambia for a month and i want to know the best place to visit and the best hotels to stay and the cost of the food plus the quality of the services offered
Lusaka is an upcoming and a fast developing city with alot of places to go to. There are alot of shopping malls that have been built in the recent past. There is also the Kabwata Cultural village for the Zambian curious. The Mundawanga Botanic gardens if you want to see different species of birds, alot of animals and the different kinds of trees, flowers and shrubs. People are friendly, less crime and the nights are full of activities.
When you are in lusaka check out kabwata cultural village and sunday market at arcades shipping mall
The most amazing thing for me about this town is there are absolutely no traffic lights in the whole town. It is a great place though. Livingstone leads Vic Falls which is one of the most amazing places ever. The people in Livingstone are extremely friendly and kind. Being around them gives you the true meaning of the word humble.
