Lovely place but still very poor and the people though so friendly leave it very dirty, nappies and rubbish dumped all over the place. They kept changing the time for the flights as they felt. The places we stayed in beautiful locations had rough edges e.g they burnt tyres outside our bedroom window all night, but can highly recommend the NZers who run a place in Ha apai up the end on Foa Island. Thouhg the coral is mostly dead. Best to see the place by yacht as I did a few years back
