St. Helena and Ascension

Been Here 3 times now and I love the place and the people. Its not the sort of place to get a package holiday to mine was neatly packaged by the Navy (thanks). This is the island that Napolon died on. The house he lived in was nice i could not get over how small the man was (must have had small man syn) the only disappointment was his grave a modern slab and plain. I know he is not there but after a walk down the slope to the tomb to be confronted by a Macalpine slab was a shame. The main town of jamestown is the high life of the island with about 4 bars and one of these held a disco when we were there. Anns Place as you go through the gates into jamestown is nice and the Tuna fish cakes and curry are to die for. There is Jacobs ladder for the fit ones on the right behind the prison. You may be lucky to see the kids slide down this a sight indeed.
