the most depressing place i've been in my life, many rumanians and hungarians told me before i went, theysai, DONT GO TO BUCHAREST i went and after 3 hours of walking around decided to leave for a nicer part of rumania. i hope they lean up and make it more turist oriented i felt like tha cold war had ended the week before i got there.

Very poor country but some people there are very smart and plan on making it a better place or leave the country to come to the States. A lot of people smoke there in public places. There are panhandlers who are young girls. There are a lot of stray dogs running around. Most people stare at you if you don't look or dress like them. They like to drink and eat. Go to the tourist attractions and you'll have more fun. I worked at an orphanage and they are in dier need of supplies, help, and a new building. They also need neurological surgeons/doctors to treat them correctly. Their medical equipment is ancient.

you take a GREAT MISTAKE .if all the country will be so beautiful and beassed country by GOD ...meens we all are in HAVEN.. Romania is a HAVEN of World... look well around you open your mind.. end your eyes and you ll see ..you fell what... Romania is LOVE !!!!!!!! is a hause of GOD !!! you dont never - never!!!!speak about thinks that you dont know..... you know nothing about Romania !!!!!!!!!!ND THEREFORE YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK LIKE THAT

If you want to see Romania as tourist is OK, you will find nice landscapes, wild forests, Danube Delta medieval castles and churches, hotels restaurants, clubs and museums. If you want to comment about dirty places and poor people look first around your own town. If you are concerned about the weather search on any Weather web site and you will find updated information.
Do not worry about pick-pocketing as now Romanian gypsies "works" in great number in France, Italy and UK. If you plan a vacation in Romania you should know what you want to see, plan your trip an visit the country by car. As long as you follow the driving code this is the faster and safer way to visit Romania.

Of COURSE This a place you want to visit again ! weather so nice in SUMMER .you know the difference when you used to live in HOT weather .Very good restaurants where you can enjoy the good food the services and entertainment.

Timisoara is a very beautiful city. First of all you should visit the Center and the Unirii Square (mainly the "old city"), and if you have time, try to go to the Banat Museum and maybe for a short walk by the river Bega. Enjoy your time in Timisoara!
