It's exclusively a business destination. I wouldn't recommend it for young people looking to combine career and lifestyle, Qatar is not the place. Unless you get your circle of friends the place can be pretty boring.

People are pretty conservative, therefore women are recommended to dress accordingly when on the street, shopping malls and governement offices.

In general Qataris are friendly, however some don't like foreigners.

Driving is a it risky, people have no respect to the trafic regulations, just be careful and vigilant on the road.

Qatar is a good place for business people....Here construction also in a booming stage......It is good place for all kind of business......By the blessing of god this land is having rich source of oil...Qatar also a good place for tourists.....So many beautiful locations are situated here.......Qatar National Government trying very much to keep the Qatar neat and clean....

My trip in Qatar needs no time delay for the ship needs to sail any time my work completed. I was pressured too much that even my flight was booked at the same day. Thanks God I finished it smoothly.These was my 4th and latest trip in Qatar. The 3rd, I was boarding a ship in Fujairah U.A.E. loading crude at Jebel Dhana, Abu Dhabi then Halul Island, Qatar and Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia. My 2nd trip was on the 90`s were I was sent by our company doing Tank Calibration in Messaid, Qatar. And the first trip I was assigned in Ras Laffan, Qatar.

I had an unforgettable experience on my first trip hence, We meet accident while sending me back to Doha Air Port after completing my job. While crossing the round about one car in full speed suddenly cross our way. And our car was hit at the front but surprisingly the man drove it away. Police came and after some questions, they escorted our car in the Airport and help me boarded the Qatar Airways.
