If you are planning travel into Porto you must be there in 23 of june to the great, big and craziest popular party - S. João - the party starts early in the afternoon of 23 June and usually lasts until the morning of 24 June. At midnight you can saw a big firework and then walk all night until 3 or 5 am and you can hit each other either with garlic flowers or soft plastic hammers.
