If you are looking for somewhere cheap to visit then maybe this is not the first place you should come to. That said, I think you will be impressed. I have found Oslo to be a wonderful city, with plenty to do, and you will find lots of clean air, unlike many capital cities around the world. There cannot be many Capitals that have miles and miles of forest walks and cross country ski-runs right on the doorstep, conveniently served by the excellent public transport system. I expect to be here for some time yet, so if I can help anyone that plans to visit, please feel free to get in touch.

I visited Sognefjord and Nigardsbreen glacier in Noway this summer along with my husband. We flew from Copenhagen to Bergen and travelled by train to Myrdal. At Myrdal,we took the Flm Railway's train to Flm.Flm railway runs down a steep mountain path and was a beautiful experience. The spectacular sight was that of Kjosfossen waterfall.Flm is a picturesque village in the slope of mountains, near the fjords. From Flm,we took a fjord cruise to Gudvangen through Aurlandsfjord and Naerofjord which filled our eyes and mind with the beauty of nature - mountains, waterfalls and pastures. From Gudvangen,we reached Sogndal by bus and caught the Glacier bus to Nigardsbreen Glacier. The view of the glacier from the valley was breath-taking.We could not believe what we saw infront of our eyes to be real,it was as if someone had drawn it on a big canvas !! I have fallen in love with Norway,a country on which God has bestowed so much beauty upon.

I loved Norway. It was so beautiful, and the people were so kind and friendly. I hadn't ever experienced a place like that in my life. We were there for almost 2 weeks. We started in Oslo and ended back there after boat trips through the fjords, bus trips through a few different towns and the final stretch was a train trip back to Oslo. We were in Lilleheimer 2 days before the Olympics. I hope that I will be able to make it back before I die.
