MAAAAAAAAAAAN, You have got to visit Northern Ireland, once in this life time.. Its like a fairy tale land.. The climate of the day( I choose to say Climate and not weather as it changes every moment..Its raining now, its cold, now its sunny..) is so unpredictable that you can experience all the seasons in a day.. The market place is full of little babies, toddlers, young parents and old people who smile a beautiful Hello into your day.. I went there and never missed home.. Which is a BIG thing for a homebird like me.. The IRISH BREAKFAST is something I'll NEVER EVER FORGET!!! oh the fresh hot toasties with french fries and a portion of baked beans with a super huge glass of Fresh juice... it was a treat to die for.. all served with that typical pleasant reaching the heart smile!
GO THERE!

My comment is that,I live here in Bangor,Northern Ireland, and I agree with sudha:it's heavenly!! the people are great, they smile all the time and are utterly polite, quite a change from my last home the States, where everyone is too busy to even look at you,and forget them saying excuse me or thank you!! hope we get more appreciative visitors here:you are all welcome!!! or as they say here:Failte!!

I went to Northern Ireland for a conference and it was awesome. The people were very friendly and ones that I have made friends with and are still in contact with. A lot of sightseeing places and amazing landscape. I want to go back one day!

I run a small 5 room alternative lodge, Namaste, which is like a home from home, with facilities like a hostel and rooms like an independent hotel. Google me for a great place to come and swop travel stories, and I can guide you to some insider visits.

Dear Angel,

How I wish words could express the thoughts that I have towards you. If I should say I love you then the greater percent of my words are still unexpressed. But of course, I must say something ... my heart beats for you, and my heart longs for you. Can we have conversation...Here is my id ken_obins_sizzy@yahoo.com

Love always,

ken

I live here, just outside Belfast & what can I say - yes its boring at times, where is there in the world that isn't? But the people (on the whole) are friendly, most would talk to anybody about anything, they are very open. The nightlife is good, & the culture is too. For anyone who hasnt been I do recommend it :) I would definitely suggest heading along the Antrim coast as it is absolutely gorgeous, there is really some nice scenery! Also, a favorite of mine is Belfast zoo & Portrush - there is lots to do for kids there, an award winning beach, amusement park (Barrys) an indoor swimming center and lots of arcades to gamble in. Also, Dunluce castle is very nice.
