Jimi 's tip about Lagos, Nigeria  (with reference to Beach outings) 7th Apr 2012

Lagos is the 6th populist city in the world, lovely environment ,lovely people, good culture and great cousin.the hotels are lovely and safe for foreigner.beautiful places to visit, nice resort, great beaches, museum, parks, cinema.
My important advise is don't get involved with people u don't know or trust.there are lots of nice and bad people very where, not only in Lagos or Nigeria.
thank u

Don't go! I was in Lagos in 1975 and was arrested on leaving the plane. I was placed in a 10x10 room for 3 hours (no light, no a/c) and then led into the chief security officer. He told me I had yellow fever; I said I didn't. This went on for 1/2 hour. He told me that they were putting me in quarantine for 60 days because I had yellow fever in the jail. I said, "Goodness, what do I do?" He leaned back, "You could help yourself." Ah!!!! I said, "100 (it was pounds about $250). He shook his head. I said, "200"? He slowly nodded......poof. My yellow fever was gone. In two days I paid out $2,500 in bribes. The worst place in the world.

@ED ALLEN, you cannot make such a comment about a country you last visited more than a century ago, does that make sense? Be matured and maturity has nothing to do with age but rather with intelligence.
