Catarina 's tip about Tete, Mozambique 23rd Sep 2011

Tete city is the MOST HOT city of mozambique it is located on Zambezi river(watch for crocodiles there),but the province also has there 3 most cold district (angonia, tsangano and Macanga). Tete is strategically good for who want to tour around aAfrica, you can go from tete to Zimbabwe, malawi, Zambia. There is a big forest of tall baobabs that can impress anyone, the big trees are old and the size and shapes are extremely rare. YOu can also visit cahora bassa dam and have a good experience on fishing there. Mosquito nets and repelents must be part of your lugage. If you like goat, that is the place where you can eat , it river fish also is a very popular dish.
