I'm planing a trip to Sri Lanka in December. What is the best to see, where is the best to stay....ussually I'm travelling arround and I will be there only for 14 days, also I'm interesting about Yoga, so I would also like to stay somewhere on the beach for a few days. What is the best way to travel arround, are there good traveling connections (bus, train, maybe to rent a car....). Many thanks for all info. I would apreciate to send me mail, Su

Sri lanka is the best country to travel. There are beautiful beaches, many historical places, and also nuwara eliya known as 'Little England'.You can learn more about the YOGA and also you can get spa treatment. You can use all the way for traveling. occasionally, we must choose the traveling media. Finally, Welcome to Sri Lanka. Have a nice trip. bye. if you want more information, mail me ' nalinjayalath@gmail.com'

Sri Lanka is a small island in the Indian ocean of 65,000 square KM. Despite being so small the country has a wide range of geographic features and is rich in natural beauty. Large parts of Sri Lanka is covered in tropical forests, with hundreds of rivers flowing through them, often cascading in awesome waterfalls.

Climate

The southern and western regions have only two seasons, wet and wetter. Despite being a tropical island some parts of the country can almost be mistaken for deserts. Other regions experience rainy and dry seasons. The dry zone looks really wonderful just as the rains start to ease.

People

Most of the The country's 18.5 million population speak Sinhala, Tamil or English. Sinhala is the most widely spoken language and the Sinhala people make up the largest ethnic group. Interestingly this language is not spoken anywhere else in the world, other than by a few traders in Chennai India!.

Please visit & discover the beauty of Sri Lanka...!!
