I'm heading to Negril in February....resort on 7 mile beach..is Rick's Cafe and other places of interest within walking distance?

Half moon beach just north of Negril is very relaxed and not too well known. A good time for sure. Check out Treasure Beach if you have some time to travel a bit.

Jamaica is a very beautiful island.. The climate is awesome and the people are wonderful too. I enjoy living there, there really is no place like home.

I wasn't a big fan of Jamaica..... some of it was beautiful....but most of it was a bunch of over advertised space. i barely saw any beauty due to the people that were begging me for money the whole time i was there...

We must evaluate the places we visit we see the negative side.
In Brazil, for example, there are many beautiful places, but disclose poverty, violence, etc..
When we are in unfamiliar places, we must know the locals (good people), so they can show the good side we do not know.

When in Negril skip the all inclusives and pick a hotel or resort on the Seven Mile Beach. Don't be afraid to mingle with the locals as its the only true way to experience Jamaica. We stay at the Negril Beach Club Condo's close to the Negril Town site. Wonderful beach and lots of great things to do. We go at least once a year!

Kingston is the Capital of Jamaica, It has great night life, exquiisite restaurants and acuple great sports bars Usain Bolt and Courtney Walsh's being the leaders.Plans are a head to develop Kingston Harbour. Tell you more later.
