Hi people!! I will be in Croatia (Split) from July 15-17 2016 in the Ultra Europe Festival, and then 6 more days visiting the country! My return flight will be from Dubrovnic on saturday. Wich are the best places, cities or islands for visit during the week? Is a good idea rent a car for move in the country? Any suggestions about places to stay, tipical foods and so on? Thanks travelers!!!
The best caffe bars in Pula are Glam Caffe on Giardini, main street in Pula, then Ulix - just behind the Golden Gates in Pula where the statue of James Joyce is, and than you have a full street of caffes in Flanaticka ulica, but for me, number one choice is Bounty.... Other famous places to go is : Safari bar - Rt Kamenjak Beach bar Barracuda - Medulin, beach bar Chubacabra - Fazana Beach bar Pacino - Puntizela Elegant terrace with great view on marina is in Ribarska koliba resort.... enjoy...
I would like to visit Croatia and would like to know how well Black people are tolerated. I do not want to get there and then feel uncomfortable. I have also heard that stag and hen parties go there a lot and would like to avoid those as well. I enjoy local food and culture to get the feel of a country and an opportunity to just have conversations with people. I love history. I do like ' grown up night life, chilling out and shopping. What do you suggest?
Porec is the most perfect summer tourist resort. Located to the north west of Croatia very close to Italy's eastern border. From Porec you can take a nice boat trip to Venice as well. The place provides great opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, diving but there are also wonderful pine tree forest that provide great shade in hot summer days. The town is dripping in history and can be used as a starting point for many visits in the surroundings : Rovinj, Motovun, Umag, Hum etc.
