I was in Cairo on one day tour from Sharm, we didn't have much time to explore, I remember it as "running" trip. Egyptian Museum is really worth to see, Giza obviously and Old Town. Generally this town depressed me, it shocked me that people throw garbage behind windows so they have dumping ground as view from their apartments although I'm not expert as I saw the city from the coach. For pyramids one day is enough, for the city not, for sure it's interesting and worth to get to know.

I looooooved Egypt!!!! The people are so kind & lovely.
The usual tours places...the Pyramids, the sphinx are
amazing Have to ride a camel through the tour....a lot
of fun :-) City Stars is the most incredible shopping center
I have ever seen...7 stories & soooo much to see & do
Have to eat Koshary!!!!! Delicious!!!Smoke some shisha!!!!!
Hang out in the clubs... Great great city...Have made great
friends..I want to move to this great place....learning
Arabic too :-) There is a great feeling of home here :-)

Egypt...a place where i want to back to, I really loved the place!... so amazing-the culture and warmth of the people...Egypt- the cradle of civilization..the mummies..exploring the Egyptian Museum. going inside the the pyramids of Giza, cruise along the NIle River,entertained by belly dancers and listening to Egyptian music...wow! its really a wonderful experience..hope you could visit Egypt, too...full of wonders!

I agree with you ..though being Egyptian you find me a good internal tourest my life,things makes me wishing to be an abroad tourest is to see forests and ice.
