Dominican Republic

In July I will be spending a week in Sosua doing mission work. We are supposed to fly from Atlanta to POP because we'll be hauling supplies and Santiago is too far to transport them to Sosua. But flying home from Santiago would be cheaper and more convenient than POP, and we'll only have carry-on baggage. Is there a bus or van service from Sosua to Santiago? What is the price? Is it reliable? Thanks

Domincan republic is great but where you stay can mean the difference of a good to excellent time or a time with food poisoning and dirty rooms. I have stayed at Bahia Principe in puerto plata and of all the hotels I have stayed at this is by far the best.

Its true. I´ve stayed in Barceló Puerto Plata Resort and for me is one of the best. Good service and food. Excellent show and disco at night. As I am working here, I have got the chance to try lots.

the best are paradisus "melia" or barcelo, but they are around more than 300 usd per night all inclusive. there others hotels, you can choose any, the place is beatiful.

Food is not to bad, pending where you stay. Beaches are nice and pools are clean. Shopping is ok just need to start at a low price so you get it at a good price. I like Mexico the food is better than there and Cuba. The people are always there to help you.
