I travel to China for work as such had made some trip to Wuhan, Hubei province. It is a beautiful city, both historical and new. There are several places to go see, especially the Crane Tower and Jin Zhu temple. Chairman Mao's villa is also good to visit and learn about him. Plenty to eat, especially if you like noodles and plenty to shop. If you like night life, there is quite a few establishments you can go if you like Chinese nightclub.
We will be moving to Zhangjiagang soon, what is the best part of town to live in. We want to be close to shops, transportation, but we would really love a view of the city or parks or water.
Visit Pudong + "bottle opener" hotel's top floor bar for drink. Remember also re-build market place. Enjoy tea ceremony. Go to Jade Temple + eat big hot pots... Party scene is moving around the city so be aware.
