An order by a government for certain persons to return home daily before a certain time. It can be imposed to maintain public order (such as those after the Northeast Blackout of 2003, the 2005 civil unrest in France, the 2010 Chile earthquake and 2011 Egyptian revolution), or suppress targeted groups. Curfews have long been directed at certain groups in many cities or states, such as Japanese-American university students on the West Coast of the United States during World War II, African-Americans in many towns during the time of Jim Crow laws, or people younger than a certain age (usually within a few years either side of 18) in many towns of the United States since the 1980s

Don't miss the Old City in Bobo-Dioulasso, the village of Tiébélé with its painted houses, and the Natural Park of Arly.

Andrej 's tip about Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso  (with reference to IT) 15th Feb 2012

Hi,
I have been there in European summer time about 15 years ago. I guess the town has changed a lot since then. Anyway it is easy and comfortable to meet local people and they are able to guide you arround. But it is important to get an agreement before starting the tour. Once my guide said that we will discuss later and than he wanted big money. It was unpleasant for all of us and unfer from his side. And later even other locals agreed that this was not fer from the local and they pressed him at wall. At the end everything was OK, but it was a lecture to discuss about the price at the begining.
