i'm still a student and we're asked to make a proposal that will benefit the locals.. i chose to help the local farmers.. can anyone suggest of a project or anything that will help our local farmers? they're very hardworking and want to pay back what they have been giving.. thanks..

One of the ways to help farmers is to show them ways to increase their productivity per square meter of land cultivated/ 2 methods: French bio-intensive [look up author: John Jeavons ] and Square foot gardening [ look up author: Mel Bartholomew ]

Gardening is a healthy activity which impart positive impact on human behavior. As plant and especially variety of flowers affects thinking approach of a person. Aesthetic and romantic sense is must in a person to appreciate the delicacy of plants and flowers.

Cactus plant is bless for us from LORD GOD. Because many cactus species are useful.Many medicines are made of cactus.locally cactus is mostly used for the treatment of many diseases, pain, allergies, infections and so on.

Plant vegetables, so you can have healthy salads to eat in the summer from your own garden. You'd feel better eating from your own garden without the pesticides that are familiar to store bought produce.

Don't dig the hole too neatly. A messy hole will help your plants take root -- if it's too neat, the roots can't get their groove on. Enjoy my friends. Mess around a bit...

It is very important not to over-water your plants. If you notice the leaves or stem beginning to yellow, that means the plant is getting too much water. If you notice the plant beginning to wither, that means the plant needs more water. It is better to keep the soil well-drained and a little on the dry side than to over-water. Using quality soil works wonders. Use soil rich in minerals.
For most potted plants plenty of sunlight exposture is ideal. Plants should be exposed to as much natural sunlight as possible. They should be placed so that they can have sunlight throughout the day.

I like gardening,indoor and outdoor,the main problem of orchids is they will give flower after long months.But some plants have a capacity ,when will flower the next will come if u stop watering much to it and after one month give little. little water it will give flower again.Roses,I have violet,white, purple ,yellow, white shaded red,Lilly,s About 100 types of flowers,one name is 1000 flower.I have medicinal plants also.Botanically there are so many variety.
