To light a fire without matches or any modern technology takes time to prepare - so start hours before you need.
Get the tiniest fuel you can find - thistle seed heads or dry grasses buffed so falling apart - and try to dry out as best you can! Even your own body heat can help.
Don't think about flames - think about a small smoulder, keep the heat in and grow the bundle of heat, from the size of a pin head to the size of a golf ball, glowing orange when you gently blow air on it.

"How do I learn survival?"
Training, education, and the right frame of mind.
Training and education are up to you, but here is a helpful frame of mind
Use the Rule of Threes:
You can live up to three minutes without air.
You can live up to three hours without shelter in (most but not all) adverse conditions.
You can live up to three days without water.
You can live up to three weeks without food.
You wont last three seconds if you panic.
Although very general, applying the idea/theory of the "Rule of Threes" can help you to pack properly (day trips, multi-day, vacations), be aware of your surroundings, and stay focused when things go bad.

It pretty much depends on who you are to each other. Knowing each other so much - and trusting each other. I met my girlfriend while in SIngapore, now i'm working in another country and we have been doing well at it...

Surviving marriage is an understanding of yourself as well as the partner in your relationship, Nothing is more drab than a nag who sits at home and expects that a marriage certificate should mean delighted attentiveness by a spouse almost automatically.

For everyone who will start to involve themselves to outdoor activities. First, for training your guts, you should try wall climbing then if you feel you have overcome wall climbing activity, you may try doing rock climbing. Have a good experience.
