When I first started teaching all the experienced teachers told me what I should do eg. be strict, be firm with your students. But that is sincerely not who I am within. I was given the worse class - so that is what I was told. Today, I am so bless to have wonderful students who are so loving and kind. Just love your students, be kind, compassionate and have a listening ear, smile as often as you can (even when you are teaching). I motivate them when they feel they think they cannot do something. Experienced teachers ask me how I handle this class because they see the difference. DON'T BE TOO STRICT. JUST BE A TEACHER, MENTOR AND A FRIEND TO YOUR STUDENTS.

Not all teachers receive a fat pay check. But that should not matter if you love your job and your students. Furthermore, not all highly paid teachers can teach, love their students or even love their jobs. If you love your students, only then will you be able to teach from the heart - you will be transformed and find it easier to teach the so-called difficult student. Praise your difficult student, praise your student, listen to his / her ideas (give them a chance to speak / give their views. Never punish your students. A teacher's smile and eye contact is so important. I dedicate at least 15 minutes for my students and they tell me anything from how they are feeling, what they thought of the lesson to crack a joke of two. My students mean a lot to me. Give from your heart. Your students will be your close friends.

You cannot give what you do not have. In the same manner, you cannot teach what you do not know. THAT IS TEACHING.

Teachers are suppose to be role models to their students. I have been teaching English to Foreign students for more than 10 years now and it is truly fulfilling. If you love being a teacher then you'd encourage your students to read books in this fast developing world of technology, distracting young minds from developing their creative minds.

Fantastic! Hope I was an influence in that decision, my student! See you in SA, Cape Town again soon!

For me teaching is going on learning myself meanwhile you share what you know with others. It´s always a beautiful interchange.

Teaching, the act of helping someone to learn; also, the profession that deals with helping others to learn.

What is the difference between Information, Knowledge and Wisdom? Is formal education from Universities really necessary to gain knowledge?

Look at a tree! It is planted in the ground; as it grows, it begin to share with others, so that they may be nourish. Is this not a human seed, when you grow, you have the desire to share with others. And the more you share; the more knowledge you take in. There is so much in creation to learn and for everything out there; there is someone who has taken an interest to teach it to someone else. That is the beauty of giving. It is an endless cycle. So to everyone out there who love giving, the best thing to give is knowledge.

Thank you both for liking my tip on teaching. I love it myself. Because you are giving of yourself, and sharing with someone else. And if you are a parent, you are a teacher.
