When working with professionals, make sure its all written in paper, every detail that has to be done, the cleaning part, how would they deliver their work and the total cost. Make sure there is a substantial payment at the end, once they achieve all that is in the contract. And try to hire someone with good references on the work and on the payment, that also helps.

I allways use subcontractors pay for all materials and agree a price for each phase of work done you can save a fortune doing it this way and have control of the quality of materials used in the construction open an account with your local builder merchant's
