Proof #1 - Try praying

What would happen if we get down on our knees and pray to God in this way:

Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure every case of cancer on this planet tonight. We pray in faith, knowing you will bless us as you describe in Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We pray sincerely, knowing that when God answers this completely heartfelt, unselfish, non-materialistic prayer, it will glorify God and help millions of people in remarkable ways.

If God's people will saturate themselves with God's Word, they won't be seduced by "this lying generation."

Norman Wright from Kingston, Jamaica Norman
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Therefore many of them believed; also of honorable women who were Greeks, and of men, not a few. Acts 17:11:12

What does the Bible say about patience?

Rosangela de Paula from Curitiba, Brazil Rosangela de
Patience in the Bible
There are so many references to patience, but it is always presented as a virtue to be sought after, and one that is not gained easily or comes naturally...a fact that many of us can testify to! However, it is always a worthy reward for trials.
Romans 5:2-4
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
1 Timothy 6:10-11
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience.

i reckon...the Bible is eventful...you can read a passage on seven different occasions and get seven different meanings altogether...why? it's the only book that's alive..much better than any novel every written...hey it's God Breathed...

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. / And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.—Genesis 1:1–2
