hi fellas, im looking for a camera that can shoot under water at depths of 30-50 meters... nothing to flashy or expensive yet durable... any tips?

For snorkeling, try the Olympus Tough series cameras. I have used them several times and they take great underwater shots. Lighting is always a key when actually taking the photos, but the Olympus cameras do a nice job without having to spend an arm & a leg. You can get an optional underwater case for these models if you want to go deeper.

To requested tip on u/w photos, lighting is the key, but not the point & shoot cams that some dive outfits rent out.
