Ya hockey, the word juniors are on now! Canada is kicking ass, tomorrow we play USA, if you like hockey, this is the best! I'm an Oiler fan, and they have some young superstar players now, so we have to just see what happens.. so far pretty good games... worth a watch!!

I agree with Lindsay - watching hockey - in all forms is really fun weather it be peewee or pro but once you play it - you can truly learn to love it. You don't have to be great either - just a stick, skates puck and a frozen creek on a quiet winter day - and you feel the beauty of the game - skating, twirling, shooting

It is one of the only reasons I love winter - playing shinny once a week with our friends - not only is it fun - but wow - it is good exercise, that is for sure!

Awesome Za that is what hockey is . It does not matter at what level you play just as long as it brings people together and everyone experiences the magic of the game!

Try watching the World Juniors, Canada plays USA tomorrow at 6 pm Alberta time. The game is in Edmonton...enjoy

You don't always have to watch the top league to see a good game. I spent a year in Montreal and watched the Verdun Dragons a lot - semi pro team. But it was so much fun! The guys in the lower leagues have to fight for a place so they really play hard

Watching hockey is great. Playing is fun too, even if it's a game of pick up.
Skating is great cardio and builds the best strength in the legs and thighs.

Well, obviously you need to be able to skate but so many people get scared off because they can't. Honestly, learning to skate is easier when you are focusing on the game, not on your feet! So just get out there and give it a go!
