Practice makes perfect. I think learning foreign languages is rewarded. I'm learning English and Japanese. I want to make friends with native speakers and know more about their culture.

I would like to know from you how do you say "Hi" or Hello in your own language?...Let me start ... I used to say "Mauri" in my country where i came from Kiribati as a greeting word similar with hi or hello..please share your language

to speak to a person in the language he understands is the best ever thing one can do but its real difficult to learn all the languages, however, one must try to learn at least those languages which are vastly understood, like English, french, Arabic, Urdu and Chinese. i would recommend that at least french, English and Arabic be known to everyone :) stay blessed

when you chat with foreigners you met you may ask them to teach you some of their languages and some of their cultures so your conversation won't be boring .i did that so i gained something from chatting .
