I don't see why someone who isn't millionaire couldn't travel far away places and stay in nice hotels, or wear fancy clothes, or travel in fast trains... All is in our minds, if you want to do that, best choice is sitting in some place with a selected view and recap with your children about how you won the lottery and now you are flying to Katmandu, and staying at the Super Marriott 7 stars hotel, and just keep going with your imagination traveling in your mind, you can get more fun from it, and it cost you nothing, just sitting with a selected view of your choice. I am sure kids will appreciate more, than if you were millionaire and then the attention to you wouldn't be the same.

Travel In Groups

These types of accommodations typically will cost more than traveling by oneself, but usually the benefits of staying safe far outweigh the added expense

For someone who is wary of travelling alone, like me, in unfamiliar placers, your tip should be made a rule to follow. I had been to China on a group tour and a member had wandered off twice. Lessons were learned though.
